Chris Bakker is a graduate of the University of Potchefstroom, where he earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree.
With over 25 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Chris has established himself as a prominent figure in this field. He is the proud owner of Erongo Medical Care CC, a well-respected pharmaceutical group that operates two pharmacies: Welwitschia Pharmacy located in Walvis Bay and Ocean View Pharmacy situated in Swakopmund.
Under his leadership, these pharmacies have become integral parts of their communities, providing essential healthcare services and medications to residents.
In a strategic move to further enhance his business operations, Chris welcomed his daughter into the management team at Erongo Medical Care. This family-oriented approach not only strengthens the business but also ensures continuity and innovation within the company.
Recognizing the potential for growth beyond pharmaceuticals, Chris has embarked on an exciting new venture by establishing Bakkers Business Consultants. This company aims to offer comprehensive business consulting services throughout Namibia, with plans to eventually expand into property management services.
Through these initiatives, Chris Bakker continues to contribute significantly to both the healthcare sector and the broader economic landscape of Namibia.
Chris Theron - Legal Officer
Chris Theron is a notable figure in the realm of labour law consulting in Namibia, having established a commendable career trajectory following his graduation with an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). His academic background provided him with a solid foundation in legal principles, particularly those pertaining to labour relations and employment law.
Upon completing his studies, Theron joined one of Namibia’s leading labour consulting firms, where he quickly distinguished himself as one of the firm’s premier labour law advisors. This role involved providing comprehensive legal advice to businesses navigating the complexities of labour legislation in Namibia. His expertise encompassed various aspects of labour law, including employee rights, workplace disputes, and compliance with national labour regulations. Theron’s ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively allowed him to assist numerous organizations in mitigating risks associated with employment practices.

Elzaan Bakker - Operations Manager
Elzaan Bakker is a distinguished professional who’s academic and career achievements reflect her dedication to excellence and her passion for empowering others.
A graduate from the University of South Africa (UNISA), Elzaan has successfully obtained three notable qualifications that have laid a strong foundation for her career. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) specializing in Financial Management, equipping her with the financial acumen necessary for strategic decision-making in business environments. She further expanded her expertise by earning a Bachelor of Consumer Science (BCS) with a specialization in Journalism, which honed her communication skills and deepened her understanding of consumer behavior and media dynamics. To complement her robust educational background, Elzaan also holds an Advanced Certificate in Accounting Science, enhancing her proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
With over a decade of experience as an operations manager, Elzaan has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational skills. Currently, she serves as the Operations Manager at Bakkers Investments Pty Ltd, where she plays a pivotal role in managing all internal departments. Her responsibilities encompass strategy development, operations management, financial oversight, human resources & payroll administration, as well as marketing & communications. One of Elzaan’s key roles involves managing our key client accounts, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services.
